What is the best way to delete some hidden apps? Also apps no longer used. Not Apple stuff.
I use Easyfinder to locate anything with thee name of the app. Takes a while to nuke everything but works well.
I that case you will need to also search for the developer name to catch any files that don’t include the app name, but be careful not to delete a file needed by another of the developer’s apps.
Mac or iPhone?
For iPhone tap and hold thei icon and the option to delete the app and data appears.
For Mac it is more complicated because the installation might have put supporting files and data in different places.
Some Mac apps actually have uninstall routines that should deal with this. Otherwise you might need a utility app as mentioned above.
If you don’t mind leaving those supporting files on the Mac (filling up disk space but unlikely to do any damage &) then just bin the unwanted app file from the Applications folder.
& Some apps install “helper” apps that load when the Mac boots up- best to find & delete these.
