Even though I have Classic chosen for phone app view, the call logs are not being maintained properly.
I have a contact for which it is important to note time of incoming call, as well as subsequent calls and communication times. i.e. incoming and outgoing calls to log the course of communications on an issue.
Currently, for instance, the call history for a recent call is back to logging calls in the new Unified manner i.e. only the last call in or out made.
I need phone logging in the manner of the previous iOS For instance when tapping into the call history for a contact, previous iOS versions would list each and every subsequent incoming and outgoing call for that Recent listing
Currently my call history for this contact displays an anemic gray palette of a smattering of very old calls.
Question: Might clearing all recent call history restore to proper function?
Or has Apple abandoned a very important feature, for the phone app? Or deeply hidden things again?
P.S. most of the Google query AI results for quieries on this are pretty out of date or simply wrong
P.P.S sort of funny, I just entered a new query modifying the question and AI now says this is a known bug … perhaps so
P.P.P LOL, I just updated from 26.1 or such to 26.3 and it took me a long minute to even find the phone app Recents …. um, cuz Apple renamed it to CALLS
