Not quite Tahoe related but definitely UI related. A week ago I tried to add a contact to my phone. It was in my most recent contacts and it had been named by caller ID. I clicked on the info button and the screen I got was not what I expected.
I expected to get the screen that would allow me to add or share a contact or block caller. What I got was an info screen on the caller, complete with reviews phone number and map where I could click for directions. That actually came in handy to get the location but not so handy to add them to my phone.
Yesterday I decided to write this email and take a closer look at that screen. I ended up finding how to add the contact! There I had to click the share button, which is the rectangular icon with an arrow pointing up. The next screen did allow me to add contact, and other things, like print, save and it showed me a list of my contacts that I could send it to.
I backed out of that so I could take screenshots and write up a better summary, and when I went back in lo and behold the caller ID information was now missing from the recent calls list and the add contact screen that I initially expected to see what was there.
My point I guess, is that at least to me, is using the share button too have to find a way to save a contact is completely counterintuitive. But now I can’t duplicate it so who knows what that was.
