iOS 26.2 Problem with Reader in Safari

For some Safari sites I cannot use the Reader option.

For these sites activating Reader lets me only see the beginning of the text since when I scroll down the Reader view jumps back to the beginning.

Is there a way to prevent this behaviour?

In these cases I can only enlarge the font to increase readability.

Success with the Reader is very much dependent upon how the site structures the HTML of the page. An article may look like it’s continuous but may actually be structured as separate blocks. Unfortunately, in this case it will require Apple spending engineering time to handle the edge cases.

Thanks for your answer.

However, I never had this problem with the previous versions of iOS, definitely not with 18.7.2. Thus to me it looks like a problem of 26.2.

You may well have encountered a new problem but I have encountered this for years on both macOS and iOS Safari on a wide variety of websites.
