Weirdly, all my other sites open well but can’t view Eclectic Light Co and having withdrawal. :). Any ideas appreciated. MacbookPro 14 M5Max Golden Gate Developer 27. Thank you. Patrick
Is an error being displayed? Or is a connection being made and the content isn’t being displayed?
I just was able to successfully open eclecticlight.co under Safari 27.0 (22625.1.29.11.24) on Golden Gate beta 26A5416b
On Safari it just doesn’t open up. Message says server dropped the connection.
VM or physical hardware?
Physical hardware w macbookProM5Max 14 inch in Safari using Golden Gate Beta Developer
I CAN open Eclectic Light Co on Vivaldi but just not Safari. Weird to me.
Which builds of Safari/Golden Gate Beta Developer?
Would you by any chance have Private Relay turned on ? If so, can you turn it off and see if anything changes?
Try removing safari data for that particular domain.
Safari Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
Sounds like a long standing Safari bug I’ve encountered with frequently visited sites (in my case Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine)
Thank you all. (y’all) Didn’t help. Must be in the beta or something re: Safari specifically. Version 27.0 (22625.1.29.11.25) Patrick
Here’s the 6-year-old solution I was referring to:
Alternatively, it could be some infrastructure (Cloudflare, Netlify, etc) preventing access en masse from your ISP. I just got back from a long weekend break at a holiday park and I couldn’t access my own blog over their wifi, because Netlify who host my blog block the range of IP addresses the holiday park has. I had to use a VPN to get around that. Safari’s limit address tracking might also be getting in the way.
The exact error message screenshot would be a great help.
