Best new functionality in macOS Sequoia: – One can finally send links in mail messages again without having them default to expand into previews! (A tick box in the Send settings.) It was hell before. (Dropbox is acting up though and some other odd stuff, but let’s focus on the positive here.)
4 posts were split to a new topic: iPhone mirroring in Sequoia
Otherwise, I am most happy right now with the ICE menu bar modification, but this is also available in Sonoma. https://icemenubar.app
I have that in Mail in Sonoma.
Strange as I have looked so many times there, but maybe it appeared in the latest update to Sonoma … but good it is not only in Sequoia. It is these kind of things one would like to see mentioned in the release notes …
The tickbox is in the Composing settings, and is called “Add Link Previews.”
Thanks! The Swedish translation of the macOS interface has always been a bit lacking since the start … so it could be hard figuring out what it would say in English.
Hi Jerry,
This is also an option in Mail on iPadOS and iOS. I did not realize until you mentioned it here.
