This behaviour is common to iOS 26.1 and MacOS 26.1
You create a desktop widget or lockscreen widget. For example, the weather channel. When the weather channel app is updated, the widget disappears and one needs to re-add it. This is annoying. Does anyone know of a fix or is this a bug?
