Goal : check my exercise form
Challenge : low vision
Plan : Prop iPhone so its camera captures me on the mat. Via magic technology, display on iPad on the floor by my eyes
Didn’t work : iOS screen mirroring
Both devices are up-to-date with iOS 26.5. Can you kindly explain the relevant magic tech? Willing to use an app if needed, welcome app advice.

The free if complex Blackmagic Cam app does this.

I thought this was called Continuity Camera but on the Apple Continuity page it doesn’t appear iPhone to iPad is possible.
I also searched a bit for screen mirroring but that also doesn’t seem applicable.
But here’s an idea, I can’t test it now to see if it works, but maybe you could do a FaceTime video call from iPhone to iPad, or Share Play…

This advice might work. Haven’t tried it myself.
Stream your iPhone's screen to your iPad using a screencasting application Do you want to mirror your iPhone screen to your iPad? iPhones have gorgeous displays, but sometimes you want to view something on a larger screen, or perhaps you...
Most mirroring apps on the App Store seem to have poor reviews!

Thanks, @TBTdn , that approach worked!
I set up my iPhone camera to show me on the exercise mat. I FaceTimed from my partner’s iPad to my iPhone, and when I answered on my iPhone, the iPad showed what the iPhone camera saw.
