If I create a new event on my Google calendar on the Google website the item is not issued with any type of default notification, just how I like it. If I use Calendar on my Mac to do the same, Calendar initially shows the event as having no notification either. But once that appointment has synced the event with Google Calendar, that event will shows a notification in both. I then have to go and manually remove that unwanted notification. Is there any way to change this behavior? Or is this just another case of poor Google-Apple integration?
