Having lost an M1 MacBook Air earlier this year to keyboard malfunction, I’m ready to cave and get a skin for the replacement M3 MacBook Air. Ideally, one that doesn’t feel like it’s there at all. Recommendations welcome!
Very happy with Moshi —

Thanks. Seems not to match the M3 MacBook Air and Moshi doesn’t seem to make one that does.
Thanks! Will give that one a shot!
This is a winner. But I’m horrified by how much crud wasn’t being caught before.
Thanks, Brian!
One of these came today:

You barely know it is there, and my only issue is that it is translucent rather than transparent: there is a slight opacity to it, but the key labels are still legible (I’m not much of a touch typist). I think I will order a couple more for other users in the household.
A reminder to those using keyboard covers - Apple recommend that you should remove it before closing the screen, due to the tight manufacturing tolerances. I used to use a keyboard cover with my older MacBook Pros, but I haven’t been doing so on my newer model because I know that I’ll forget to take it off.
Didn’t know! Thanks!
