Further Apple Music Follies

Item One: I’ve turned off WiFi, put a check mark on Only Downloaded Music. When I a do a Show In Finder query via Music > File menu … Show In Finder is grayed out. I can navigate to the existing files in the Media folder, however… very odd.

Item Two: Searching recently purchased albums Music generally only reveals one or two tracks. And even if download on the drive, Show In Finder is grayed out. Plus there are now download options on the main queue for the missing tracks.

I was able to conjure up purchases in Account > Purchases and download via the artist queue tapping Download All

As intuitive as music is …. Apple Music is not very

Feeling the need to bump this.

After having re-downloaded missing tracks from a purchased album a week ago, the same thing is happening again. Only two tracks can be found on the drive. The same 6 of 8 tracks disappeared.

This is a purchased album. I cannot figure out what setting is telling Apple Music to delete 6 out of 8 tracks of a purchased album.

What setting am I missing? I have not engaged the Optimize setting, which wouldn’t make sense in this situation anyway …

Does anyone have a clue why the app is deleting selected tracks from the drive … a genuine mystery

I can only sympathise, Music, both the app and service, is a truly horrid experience.
