Can't Choose Custom Like-Emojis on Safari for iOS 26

I can no longer choose any of the custom emoji responses to a TidBITS Talk Discourse posting. While reading on Sarai for iPhone, tapping on the heart emoji no longer pops up the custom emoji, so I can only respond with the heart.

There is no popup even after restarting my iPhone 17. Yes, I’m logged in.

Pop-ups continue to work fine on Safari for macOS 26.2, but not for iOS 26.2.1.

Any ideas for getting the custom emoji popup back on my iPhone?

Hmm! I’m seeing the same thing in iOS 26.3. Perhaps worth reporting on Discourse Meta?

And now the emoji pop-ups have returned in Safari for iOS. Bravo!

Cool! That must have been fixed when I upgraded Discourse.
