Which Apple Watch faces do you use?

I like using Waypoint.
I can locate where I parked my car, my apple tag, my places like home, storage unit, family. When someone tells me to get lost, I can’t!

A custom one I created from a portrait of my late wife.

So here are some watch faces I use:

The watch face usually on my watch is the Exactograph watch face with the Compass altimeter and several weather stats as the complications:

For those who haven’t seen it, here’s the exploded view (obtained by double-tapping the watch face) :

When attending political events, I switch to a variation of the Stripes face:

Finally, when attending a more formal event, I use a very simple face:

Note that the watch is Rose Gold. I use a gold Milanese Loop with this face.

I access most functions through the Smart Stack.

By the way, it took some time for the various watch face screenshots to appear in my Photo Library. I think this may have been caused by the current iCloud sync issue.

yeah, I was half-joking about that… but the other half… Hm. Well, a day is one rotation of the earth, so it would make sense for an analog timepiece to go around once a day too. Might have been an economic decision to make them go twice.

Not a bit deal, matter of curiosity only, thanks for the link!

Maybe the analog timepiece was based on the sundial, which went “all the way around” in half a day.

I guess I am not surprised by what people use - considering who participated in this forum - but I have to note that my wife uses the Snoopy watch faces - she loves the animations especially when a new one shows up.

I too use the Snoopy one, especially if I have a little one around…

I used to be a devotee of a heavily accessorized Modular face, but ever since the photos face came out and rotate among pictures from my library of Tonya, nice landscapes, and city scenes, it has become my standard watch face.

I usually have a simple face, but I change the color based on which band I’m using. I have been to a few memorial services as well as kid’s birthdays and it has been my habit to make a watch face with photos of the person we are honoring/celebrating. Other people can see it and it seems less intrusive than pulling out a phone and browsing through photos.

(I am also trying out turning off all my notifications on the watch (keeping the phone). I felt my life was being “gamified” - Stand! Walk! Look! Bravo! I’ll check my activity in a few weeks to see if I am changing my level by internalizing those behaviors.)
