Has Apple ever indicated what processors they were using to populate their Apple Intelligence server farms? The M4 Mac Mini Pro would be a powerful little machine for those installations. It is material-efficient and energy-efficient. At the very least, it could get them ramped up until the fastest M4 Apple Silicon processors were ready to be installed.
Apple has not commented officially on the exact hardware being used - just that it is custom server hardware using Apple Silicon.

I’m not sure what you mean by “populate … Apple Intelligence server farms.”
Are you referring building models or running models?
Apparently Apple built their models using Google’s tensor processing units (not Nvidia’s).
Note, however, that this article is talking about using Google TPUs for training ML models.
This does not necessarily mean that those same chips are being used to process user data through the models after they’ve been trained.
