Trouble with the Cloudflare human test

I’d be curious if it continues with Brave or if something gets reset within Cloudflare.

Concerning secondary email addresses (which I agree aren’t critical, but which I think are definitely handy), I think something must have changed because when I go to Preferences, Account tab, I see all the addresses I added, with my sign-in address correctly shown as “Primary”, but can’t edit/remove them, and there’s a message below, “Email can be updated from authentication provider.” I presume that means this feature has to be supported by the SSO provider (the main TidBITS site), somehow.

Yes, we’ve always done single sign-on from our WordPress server for TidBITS Talk, but I honestly don’t remember what happens to your TidBITS Talk account if you change your email address on the main site.

It doesn’t look like even I, with admin privileges, can edit those secondary addresses. Is there a need to?

Apart from the case of an actual change of email address (assuming it actually works as intended)?

Nah, not really. I don’t like the idea of inactive addresses on my account, but it’s harmless. And the benefit of adding those secondary addresses was purely in allowing me to post by email from any of my addresses, without having to remember which one, or choosing from the “From” popup menu in Mail to change it from the default. A small win, particularly since I almost never post by email any more (sadly).

So, no, it’s really not the end of the world.
