Incidentally, I consider Swinsian a spiritual successor to the old iTunes, turned up to 11!

I noticed that Swinsian 3.0.0 was just released after a very long time in beta. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am looking forward to giving it a look. I am very tired of Apple Music’s interface oddities on the Mac.

Yes! I must admit, I was a bit worried about Swinsian’s future until I found out about the v3 beta on Reddit. I’ve been running the beta for about a month now, and it’s noticeably more responsive at handling my huge music library. Just purchased the upgrade to the release version now!
