Shared Images/Videos in Patreon?

I have a non-local, not very computer knowledgeable, friend who does a Patreon broadcast several times a week. He knows how to start the broadcast from his iPhone on a tripod, and has an excellent well-lit studio space.

But, occasionally he’d like to share photos or videos in his broadcasts He’s doing it now by holding his MacBook displaying the image/video in front of his iPhone camera I’ve tried to find an easier way to share to Patreon, but all I’ve found are semi-complex methods that require streaming software on the MacBook with a URL to be entered into Patreon. Not ideal to teach a remote amateur.

Any suggestions? I just don’t see any way to have Patreon use any input other than from the camera on the device being used.

What they want is to be able to switch, either in software or in hardware and that’s going to be somewhat technical. I’ve not used Patreon’s broadcast options so can’t speak to how they like to be fed. I’d suggest just identifying the simplest route no matter what you think they can do. if their ambition is to do this they’re going to need to learn how to do it. my first thought was if it could be set up in Keynote, it can take live video.
