For many years, we’ve had some form of spam filtering in front of the Discourse system that run TidBITS Talk to protect against obvious spam and reduce backscatter. Things changed with this back in August, but I’ve been highly dubious that the system was really doing anything, so after talking with the admins at easyDNS (we use easyMail for Discourse’s mailbox), I’m going to repoint DNS to bypass all the spam filtering.
I’ll be paying attention, of course, but if you notice something amiss, let me know in this topic so I can look into it.
