There seems to be an issue with my wife’s All Inboxes - her main mail account messages (which receives the bulk of her mails) aren’t showing up when she clicks on All Inboxes. If she expands it by clicking on the triangle to the left of All Inboxes, and then clicks on the address of the account, they show up. She has quit and restarted Mail, restarted her Mac and rebuilt the All Inboxes mailbox, but the issue persists. Any suggestions?
A possibility, that fooled me recently. All my inbox contents had disappeared, resulting in widespread panic. Finally realized that the “Filter” button (which filters out read mail and I NEVER use) had somehow gotten activated. Clicked it off, all my mail reappeared.
(It’s that tiny button in the upper-left next to the stop-lights.)

Is the account an IMAP account? If so, I’d suggest deleting the account and adding it back again and see if that fixes it.
She is currently travelling, so if the filter isn’t the problem, I will delete and re-add the account when she gets home in a few days. She’ll be asleep now (six hour time difference), so I’ll report tomorrow if the filter was the issue.
It wasn’t the filter, but she has solved it. While a restart did not work, a full shutdown and restarting the next morning has fixed it. Very strange.
