I’ve started using Reminders for my To Do list but many of the entries need amplifying notes. Reminders can have a note included but the text is smaller and grayer and thus hard to read or edit.
If I create a Note with additional info for each Reminder, is it possible to link the appropriate section in the Note with the individual reminders as reading or editing the text data is much easier in Notes than Reminders, particularly on iOS or iPadOS.
I poked through the various options in Reminders, Notes, and Prefs for both and nothing popped out.
I did see that I could sort of kludge a Note that was a checklist and have the additional text in a sub checklist so I might have to go that way if linking isn’t possible unless there’s a way to format the notes section in the reminder larger and darker.
I never do this myself, but I sort of remember that you can “hey siri, remind me of this” and Siri will create a reminder of whatever is on the screen (so, a note you are looking at). And then you can edit the reminder.
I will take a look at that but it looks like you have to deprecate the note first…
Generally I would be adding the item to the To Do list then doing notes as the item moved long to completion. I could create the Note and add text then use Siri to add and move it to the To Do list but it would mean a separate Note for every To Do and I would prefer a single note with sections or similar. It might work but since ll I’m looking for is better formatting of the note in the To Do just making a bulleted Note with sub bullets for the text parts might be easier overall.
I don’t need any scheduling for these…just a list of action items with legible notes that are easily edited as things progress.
