Updatest is clear that the subscription is simply for identifying updates that other Updatest users have installed. Is that what you are proposing also?
I don’t mean to be difficult, but when you wrote “Everything Floodtide updates today stays free” it gives the impression that new apps I install, or new apps that are released will not be updated without a subscription. I apologise if I am misunderstanding this.
Edit: I understand from further info at the Discord that this feature is going to be the same as Updatest’s Network - a way of finding updates that are installed on other user’s machines. Standard update sources (Sparkle, Homebrew etc) remain unaffected and will cover any new apps installed or released. I am sorry if I have caused confusion.
