Is there no way to easily and quickly the download whole state for offline map instead of an area in iPhone’s Google’s and Apple’s iOS Maps apps?
I thought this a relatively obvious wish of Maps App and I do use offline maps, so I poked around. I searched for “Ohio” and when displayed tapped the three dots and a menu came up including “Download Map”. As I’m on limited bandwidth I didn’t tap that to see if it only downloaded the map to state boundaries but if you have plentiful internet, maybe that will do it.
Alternatively if you often want offline maps I can recommend OSMAnd, a multiplatform app that uses Open Street Maps. There may be others and this one has more options than I want or need but was the best I found at the time of searching.
