BZG has updated its Coherence X site-specific browser to version 6.0. Coherence X 6.0, which lets you easily turn any website into a standalone Mac app, overhauls its engine to create lighter, more secure app bundles that run directly from their own app bundle—ensuring apps behave properly in the Dock and no longer create duplicate Dock icons. The release also runs with Chromium’s security sandbox fully enabled (eliminating sandbox-disabling or testing flags at launch), updates the Creation Tool user interface with a Liquid Glass-inspired design, allows existing browsing data and extensions to be brought into a new app during creation, brings a rebuilt link forwarding engine with a new rules editor in the creation tool so you can decide which links open in your app and which go to your browser, adds support for the Vivaldi and Helium browsers, and fixes issues that could cause Brave-based apps to crash at launch or break after Brave updates. Coherence X 6.0 costs $39.99 for a single Mac license ($59.99 for three and $99.99 for five), and those with a version 5 license can upgrade for $29.99.
