Is there no way to download audiobooks in iPhone (11 Pro Max with iOS v18.7.2)'s Books app? I wanted to download to listen offline without the Internet. I don’t see any option to download. I can download purchased songs and videos, but not audiobooks? When I turn off wifi and cell Internet connections and try to play the audiobook, I get “Audiobook Unavailable – To play this audiobook, turn on Cellular Data or Wi-Fi in Settings.”

I believe that, like books in Apple Books, if you tap the cloud icon under the audiobook icon, it will download to the iPhone. I’m on IOS26.2, but I can see the audiobook I just downolaed in my iPhone storage
Based on that, the first ever purchased audiobook was downloaded (451.5 MB). Today, the audiobook can be played without Internet (cell and wifi disabled). I wonder why it wouldn’t play last night.Also, I forgot to mention that this first audiobook was purchased and briefly listened in 13" Intel 2020 MBP’s updated macOS Sequioa, and then later listened on iPhone. This is when I wanted to download and listen offline to test. I couldn’t reproduce this on iPhone 12 mini’s iOS v18.7.2 with a free Christmas audiobook with a different account. :/ So weird.
