Reincubate has issued Camo Studio 2.9, introducing dual-format streaming and recording. This enables you to stream and record landscape and portrait at the same time, each with its own independently arranged canvas. Chock-full of new features, the release adds Facebook and Instagram streaming, layer masks, stacks that can group layers and position and resize their contents automatically, isolated recordings (which record each of your sources to its own file alongside the main recording), audio noise reduction, and the ability to control Camo Studio from AI agents such as Claude. The virtual camera system also improves the sound of your streams with higher-quality audio, enhances the preview’s smoothness when using several cameras at once, updates text layers to scale from their corner handles, resolves issues with streaming to some custom RTMP servers (including Restream), addresses a problem that caused the app to take 10 minutes to launch after a USB camera stopped responding, and resolves several crashes.
