Reincubate has issued Camo Studio 2.8, an update chock-full of new features for the virtual camera system. The release introduces Web Layers for adding live Web pages directly to your scenes, adds animated transitions when switching between scenes, now allows Multi-Streaming for broadcasting to several destinations at the same time, introduces a Stream Deck plug-in that enables you to control Camo Studio from a Steam Deck gaming handheld, adds foreground and background scene layers, brings layer groups for organizing related layers together in the scene editor, adds native chat support, and adds an optional 3-2-1 countdown before recordings start.

The update also improves the experience of reordering items in the asset gallery, ensures Pause in the recording toolbar now properly pauses your recording (instead of continuing to capture blurred video), fixes a startup crash on Intel-based Macs, fixes a bug that caused GIFs to play faster than they should once added to a scene, fixes YouTube broadcast lists being cut off after the first five results, and resolves a crash that could occur after a camera was disconnected.
