Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2026.1.3 and BusyContacts 2026.1.3, adding support for AI-powered scheduling via the Claude Desktop Extension to BusyCal. The calendar app expands AppleScript support with more flexible event, task, and mixed-item queries, and adds the capability to query free/busy availability. The update also enables you to multi-select calendars in the sidebar to toggle them on or off; adds an option to the Search field for searching all calendars (not just checked ones); integrates snoozed alarms into the Alarm window;’ makes a number of improvements to TTL alerts, Snoozing, Dismissing and general Alarm Management; displays event locations in search results (when available); improves note link handling for conference dial-in numbers with extensions and pause sequences; fixes a bug where alarms for all-day events would at times go off at at random times; resolves an issue where snoozing or dismissing a single visible alarm would at times dismiss all visible alarms; and adds Raycast support.

BusyContacts adds new None and Extra Large photo size options for the Info Panel, adds an option to save edited phone numbers using your selected display format, makes improvements to street-field auto-fill and natural language processing, fixes a bug where adding additional custom labels for phone numbers would not work from settings, and addresses compatibility with some CardDAV servers when auto-detecting supported features. ($49.99 new for BusyCal from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 85.7 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+; $49.99 new for BusyContacts from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 46.1 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+)
