Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2026.1.1 and BusyContacts 2026.1.1, adding Apple Mail integration to BusyContacts to capture contacts from emails. The contacts manager also enhances printing mailing labels to allow you to select layout orientation when using a custom page size, centers labels vertically when printing, improves timeline loading reliability when switching quickly between contacts, and improves matching of contacts from BusyCal when identifiers have diverged across devices.
BusyCal adds new metrics added to Year View (Top Tags, Avg Scheduled / Workday, a new Meetings overview), upgrades to Todoist’s latest Sync API (before the support for the older API ends in February 2026), improves task sorting in month and all-day views to always sort by priority, updates Quick Entry to support duration for timed events, restores alphabetical sorting of events in Week View when multiple events start at the same time, optimizes scrolling performance in Month View, fixes a bug where the single-step navigation button in Week View would incorrectly advance by a week instead of a day, resolves a crash when printing List View in certain configurations, and corrects the dark appearance of upcoming call view after switching between appearance modes.
