All 264 Items on Apple’s WWDC26 “Sweating the Details” Slide

It does sound like Finder could finally gain better memory of where and what size windows should be. :star_struck:
It also sounds like Spotlight might finally also, once again, show text documents, especially when I enter the exact ***-damnded file name. #$%! :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:
However, I’m left wishing I’d read anything on better syncing between Calendar and Google accounts. This situation has gotten progressively worse over the years. On iOS, where there is no cmd-r force refresh, it’s even worse.

I do like David TBT’s list above for macOS:

-corrections to the many UI aberrations in Tahoe
-Swipe down to refresh in macOS
-Colorful sidebar icons
-Edge-to-edge sidebars (if that means eliminating the extra rounded box)

But I’ve a much simpler one-item number:

FIX MIGRATION ASSISTANT!

Acquiring an M5 MacBook Air (16/1TB) the other day, I hooked my SuperDuper made SSD boot master up to it, and let MA run as it initialised.

MA ran and ran and I decided it wasn’t doing anything. And that was correct. I ended by using SuperDuper running from the external (plus an OS install from Recovery) to set up the new computer.

I can’t be the only person here to have Tahoe’s Migration Assistant fail so spectacularly?
