I’m having an issue charging my AirPods Pro 3. I’m curious if any other AirPods 3 owners are having the same problem or have found a solution.
My right AirPod often loses contact with the charging plate in the charging case. This causes it to become active and actually discharge when it connects to one of my other Apple devices. The apparent issue is that it can shift slightly in the case to a stable position where it does not actually engage charging. Apple has run diagnostics and replaced my case once. I had the Genius Bar check again, and all the diagnostics check out fine.
I’m curious if anyone else has had this issue, and perhaps has found a way to modify the case to force the AirPod to stay positioned properly. In both the old and new cases, this has only affected the right AirPod; the left stays connected and holds its charge.
