Ric Ford posts his "lessons from bad Apple experience"

The macintouch.com web page opened as a blank screen in Safari until I turned off Private Relay. It opened fine in Chrome.

In passing, Ric noted issues with the scheme of getting a loaner (I.e., purchasing a replacement and then returning it for a full refund when your repair/replacement is done). e notes that Apple Stores stock base configurations but often do not stock units in a custom configuration to duplicate the damaged unit. nother issue is that the return deadline (usually 14 days) may be shorter than the time it takes to process the damaged unit. owever, during the holiday season (November 3-December 25), all units are returnable until January 8 (2 weeks after Christmas).
