I am not following any of this! :wink: (since I have a 13 Mini and not on 26) and I don’t identify with a ‘Generation’ label either, LOL!

Regarding quick use of the camera though, I set the triple-tap back option to Camera and it works about 2/3 of the time (Maybe the case interferes), so even when locked, a quick wake up button tap, triple tap the back and the camera is there. Allows a bit rougher handling than wake up and press and hold the camera icon (if my finger moves in any direction while pressing down the camera doesn’t open).

I looked for the light touch and customization settings but don’t have them, but saw ‘Prioritize Faster Shooting: Intelligently adapt image quality when rapidly pressing the shutter’ and wondered if that would be useful for @ace ‘s running photos.

It would be except that Burst mode makes much more sense when taking action shots of runners. With Camera+, I can scan through 10-15 images from a single burst and easily pull out the one where the person is in a good part of their stride, doesn’t have a silly expression on their face, and so on. It would be much harder to scan through multiple separate images in Photos.

Sometimes I use the Camera Control button, but most often simply swipe left on the lock screen.

My wish is for some way to launch the camera in 2x zoom by default. Preserve Settings has no effect on that.
