Microsoft has released version 16.112 of Office for Mac with updates to Excel and Outlook. Excel users can now use Copilot to analyze Power BI business metrics data while respecting existing row-level security (eliminating the need to export data or switch between the applications), use Copilot to format workbooks with an organization’s brand kit, and make Copilot available in more cloud-saved workbooks (including files where AutoSave is turned off). Outlook ensures links and At Mention colors match the app’s accent color, adds a new setting that lets you open new events in a separate window instead of a popover, includes a setting that automatically updates the default event creation time zone when your device’s time zone changes, makes contextual Copilot actions available from standalone message and event preview windows, and updates the weather widget to use Liquid Glass.
