Merlin Project 9.0

ProjectWizards has released Merlin Project 9.0, a major upgrade to the powerful project management app that adds a new intelligent assistant and a dynamic baseline. You can now create new projects from a simple description using artificial intelligence, which generates the activity structure, dependencies, and milestones, estimates efforts and risks, and assigns necessary resources. With the new dynamic baseline, you can now accurately compare the current state of a project with any older state—all planned fields will show the values expected at a selected previous point in time. In addition to a refreshed user interface, the update adds a new icon to the start dialog that provides quick access to additional project templates on the ProjectWizards website and replaces the old, insecure FTP protocol for automatically publishing project content with SFTP.

An annual subscription to Merlin Project costs $199 via Project Wizards (or $19.99 per month) or through the Mac App Store. A 30-day free trial is available for testing all functions. Current subscribers will receive version 9.0 free of charge as part of regular updates. Merlin Project Express costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year through the Mac App Store, and it’s also included in the Setapp subscription service.
