Like nothing on screen. Not even icons and texts. I had to restart
camera app to fix it. I think it started in v18. I don’t remember it
happening before v18. This was in both 13 and 12 mini, with their
updated iOS versions, so far. :/

Yes, on an SE3 with v18. I had to restart the camera app, but only once so far.
So, you never had this problem before v18.

I’ve seen it a couple of times on my iPhone SE 2 running iOS 17.7.2. Just clicking the home button then going back to Camera has always fixed it though.
In 13, going to home by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and then back to Camera app didn’t work earlier. Killing and relaunching Camera app did.
