Just curious for those who had old iPhones like 11 and 12. :)
I have an iphone 12 mini with ios 26.2, been using it for several weeks. It works fine for me.
I’m not a heavy user, mostly phone calls, a few apps, not a gamer.
Battery lasts somewhat less than on ios 18. My battery capacity is at 84%. The battery has never been replaced.
I will most likely replace it end of the year.
I have accessibility, display, reduce transparancy turned on and accessibility, reduce motion turned on.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 26.3 version, It is working fine. I haven’t faced any bug. My phone is working as usual it was.
Our family will skip iOS 26 for the iPhone 12 &14. This was an ambitious roll out with unification across many kinds of hardware, AI and new visuals. Apple has abandoned its proprietary AI for this version and the visuals are modified with each dot release. It’s hard to imagine that it really works well (or consistently) on Intel chips, A series and M series Apple silicon. I have had access to Google Gemini through the paid API service for quite some time. The paid service does not keep your data.
I had an 11 Pro Max. I updated not because of iOS 26 (which seemed to run ok for me) but because I was pretty sure iOS 26 would be the last supported OS on the 11s and their trade-in value would drop significantly with they were no longer supported by the current iOS.
