Econ Technologies has released ChronoSync 12.0.1, the first maintenance update since its upgrade late last year (see “ChronoSync 12 and ChronoAgent 12,” 17 November 2025). The synchronization and backup tool changes how files pending eviction are evicted on file manager disconnect, adds an iCloud/File Provider optimization so that files copied and then evicted aren’t accidentally downloaded, fixes a bug that was preventing retries if collecting folder contents generated an error, resolves an issue where AWS S3 connections were not defaulting to v4 authentication, fixes a bug where removing a scheduled item would not post a notification, and addresses a potential crash that could occur after stalled attempts to gain access to files in a background thread.
