Bombich Software has released version 7.2.1 of Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) with fixes for users running macOS 27 Golden Gate. The drive cloning and backup utility fixes a hang that could occur when CCC’s helper tool attempted to mount a NAS volume if a previous attempt to mount an AFP volume was made, and it prompts you to switch to the SMB protocol when you select a task whose source or destination (or underlying source or destination) is on an AFP volume. The update also corrects an oversight that caused the “Repeat affected tasks on login” setting to be enabled by default, fixes a logic issue that prevented exporting an ad hoc verification report, and adjusts run time limits for time zone changes.
