Apple Card interface (and Wallet app)

So, I now see the point Simon is making. For devices with an NFC chip (iPhones and Apple Watches), the virtual credit card in the Wallet app usually shows recent transactions made on the device, including the payee, amount, date, and location. How far they go back varies by card, but they appear to include at least all transactions since the last statement. Notable exceptions include Apple Credit and American Express cards, which cover all transactions regardless of device.

For devices capable of accepting Apple Pay for Internet transactions but lacking an NFC chip (iPads and Macs), there is a Wallet and Apple Pay setting, but no Wallet app. On the iPad, tapping a card in the Apple Pay setting displays Info and Transactions tabs. I only have one recent transaction on an ordinary credit card. It shows up in a bubble with a date, amount, and payee.

The Mac display is as Simon described, and at least for the card I’ve used there. It appears limited to 5 transactions and shows only the payee and amount, with no date or location.

So, I do agree that the current display of information on the Mac is inadequate. At the very least, the setting should be redesigned to mimic the iPad one. However, for any card, I prefer to use the app or website of the card issuer, which can provide a full list of transactions for that card, regardless of device.
