XREAL glasses for virtual monitors - experiences?

I stumbled upon XREAL Air glasses when Amazon presented their adapter for connecting to iPhone and iPad. I wasn’t so interested in that use, but would love to have multiple virtual monitors in my field of vision. That’s my holy grail for WFH during travel or staying with friends, and it seemed from what I read that I might soon get my wish.

Does anyone have experience getting these $350 glasses to work with a MacBook that has USB-C? According to reddit, the Nebula software that creates the virtual monitors in one’s field of vision is available.

XREAL Light glasses produce monitors with 6-degrees of freedom (so you can walk up to them and see more detail), while XREAL Air glasses produce monitors with 3 degrees of freedom, according to their reddit post.
