Sorry about that, Jan! We’ve had to lock down the TidBITS site much more tightly to fend off spambots that were creating literally hundreds of spurious accounts per day.
What happens after you enter the answer to the math problem? Does it just loop and ask again?
Yes, an endless loop (although I didn’t try endlessly🤭)
Try it now, @jan.scown. I’ve switched that secondary challenge CAPTCHA to Google’s reCATPCHA instead of the math-based version. @LauriR, let’s keep an eye out to see if others have trouble logging in now—I dimly remember switching to the math version because of some other issue.
Thanks Adam. Password changed and I’m able to log in now. No CATPCHA appeared(either version).
