Since I started using Siri a few years ago, I frequently ask to have messages read to me while my hands are full or if I’m biking. I just got my 13 Mini and it won’t work anymore, she just tells me I have to unlock the phone.
I did some googling and found someone who discovered that previews had to be present on the screen for this to work. I had previews on my old screen, but with this one I’ve enjoyed just the one line that expands when it sees my face.
My question is, is there a setting that I’ve missed that will allow the phone to respond to me without enabling full previews again. I suspect no but figured I’d ask. Unfortunately I’ve found that feature to be incredibly useful.
