Just installed the latest Mojave security upgrade + Safari update. Now Safari crashes immediately after starting it. Looks like a repeat of the problems many users had last month and which I was able to escape then. I do not want to upgrade to Big Sur just yet, but Catalina does not seem to be available anymore. Should have installed Catalina earlier but was still using some 32-bit software.
Any suggestions?
Hm. Was able to locate Catalina after all, did the update, but Safari 14 still crashes. Weird.
And fixed. Deleting old preferences resolved this. Must have been years ago I had to do that last to resolve an issue like this.
