Safari autofills password but

Safari is autofilling a password that doesn’t appear when I look at my saved passwords in either Safari 16.3 or System Settings (the old Keychain). It appears that Ventura unified those, but danged if I can figure out how Safari would auto-fill something that I can’t see when I look at saved passwords.

Anyone have any thoughts?

(In going through 11 pages of saved passwords, there’s -a lot of old stuff in there-. I suppose I should just delete those, but I’m guessing there’s no harm in long-unused passwords.)

It appears that Settings > Passwords is a subset of the credentials maintained in (or at least accessible via) the Keychain Access application. But my guess is if you launch the latter, you’ll find your “missing” password.

Well, you’re EXACTLY RIGHT! How inconsistent of Apple!

Thanks!
