Here’s another candidate for a removed feature in iPadOS 15: The “reopen last closed window” feature.
In iPadOS 13/14, if you accidentally closed a window (easy to do when trying to force-quit Safari), there was a relatively straightforward way to reopen it, saving all your tabs.
This seems to be completely missing from iOS 15. What’s more, the tabs do not appear in “recently closed tabs.”
Unless they’ve just moved this feature to some hidden place, this is horrendous behavior on Apple’s part, and in my opinion needs to be called out in TidBITS.
