Quicken has updated Quicken Classic for Mac to version 9.3, adding a variety of enhancements to the financial management app. The Sidebar now shows each account’s Display Color by default, the Portfolio Value & Cost Basis report performs better with large investment files, and you can now add the Symbol column to the Investment Performance report. The update adds a Budget vs. Actual report that compares budgeted and actual income and expenses by category; enables you to edit individual budget amounts from the 12-Month view, allows you to group the Portfolio Value report by account, asset class, or security type; ensures weekly cryptocurrency and commodity quotes no longer overwrite daily price history; and keeps newly downloaded transaction counts visible in Connection Status after you complete a multifactor authentication prompt.
