I’m starting this topic to collect reports of any problems you notice with the TidBITS website after we move it from Arcustech to Cloudways. The move is currently scheduled for Tuesday night, 17 September 2024. With luck, this will be a short discussion!
@ace, I tried to visit Communication Safety Requires a Screen Time Password in Latest Systems - TidBITS from my RSS reader (NetNewsWire) today and got this:
Trying to load tidbits.com gives the same.

No connectivity issues here at this hour. But is it just me or do the heading fonts look off on the main TidBITS site?

Yep, we took care of it. The problem, Eli said, was that there was some automated malware system on Cloudways that corrupted one of our compiled files by “cleaning” it. Stupid false positives!
Everything looks right to me. Can you provide a screenshot of what seems off? It’s not inconceivable your browser has some old CSS cached, I suppose. See if it’s different in a different browser?

That must have been it. Firefox looked good. So tried Reload From Origin and Safari and sure enough, all nice again.

Oh good. I’ve found that it’s always worth testing to see if caching could be in play.
