After I put my iPad into a new case with keyboard Face ID stopped working. It wouldn’t respond to my face. I went into settings and tried to reset it several times, but it consistently failed to scan the upper left part of my head. Then I tried turning off “Require Attention for Face ID” and the scan worked fine and now Face ID works as it should.
