I was a long time iView Media Pro user also. Sadly Microsoft bought IVMP, and bashed it with the ugly stick until it was barely recognisable as Expression Pro. It found it’s way back to Phase One (as Media Pro), and they basically sat it on a shelf until all interest was lost. I recall asking a question about Media Pro in a live web seminar and they were completely apathetic about its existence - despite it being ‘compatible’ with C1. It was made EOL a few months later.
I must say, after having used Capture One for a few years and going back to Media Pro to take a look, it was like entering a time tunnel. As much as I loved it at the time, it didn’t age well and seemed very feature limited. Time goes on, I don’t think it’s a great loss as the alternatives offer far more.
