I find it curious that photos without file extensions in the file name are ignored by Photos, iCloud and the like… in terms of syncing at least
While I don’t see an option in Photos settings, might there be a way to make Photos recognize jpgs regardless and just boot 'em up to the cloud?
The Finder recognizes files in the GetInfo etc regardless of whether the file type is appended
